Spaghetti Supper

Held during Newburg's trick or treat night from 6:30pm - 8:00pm

If you'd like to have your own trunk set up, please contact the church office and sign up so we can save you a spot! We will have a hay ride and campfire with smores available for free.
Market Day is an annual event that features a pancake and sausage breakfast, as well as a pork sale. The event takes place in October.

Spaghetti Supper
Every year our church holds a spaghetti supper. The proceeds from this event fund our youth ministry efforts for the entire year. At this time we will not be holding this event.
ALL YOU CAN EAT SPAGHETTI, 45+ SALAD BAR, & DESSERT BAR
Dinner starts at 3:00 p.m.
Adults $10
Children (4-10 yr) $5

Rural Life Festival
If you are looking for an event that takes you back to a simpler time in rural Pennsylvania, then come out to our Rural Life Festival on July 8th, 2023(Annually held on the Second Saturday in July.) The event includes demonstrations of farming techniques, vendor stands, and great food. It is a great time for families, as we have many activities that are intended for children.  The festival is held from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and is held rain or shine.  

We have an outdoor worship service the next day at 10:30am with a BYOD (bring your own dish) picnic.

Shippensburg Fair Stand
Newburg UMC has a stand at the annual Shippensburg Fair. This year's fair will be take place July 24-29, 2023. Our stand proudly serves sausage, cheese steaks, and chicken sandwiches. If you would like to volunteer, or if you are at the fair and just want to stop by, the folks running the stand will be glad to see you.

We also offer a family tent with chairs and a playmat for kids to sit and read books when a break is needed.
